What we teach

Maths & English for Years 5 to 10

Two core subjects - Mathematics and English - taught in small groups across primary and high school. We don't run a set course: every session is built around what your child needs most, in order of priority.

Mathematics

From core numeracy to problem-solving and assessment technique, our Maths tutoring turns "I can't" into "I've got this" - building skills that carry from primary school all the way through high school.

How a session works

We start with what matters most

The topics above are what we draw on - not a fixed sequence to march through. Every session begins with where your child is right now, in a clear order of priority.

  1. 1

    Nail the next assessment

Got a test, assignment or exam coming up? That takes priority every time. We focus there first so your child walks in genuinely prepared.

  2. 2

    Keep up with class

Next, we work through whatever they're covering at school right now - so the week-to-week never gets away from them and homework stops being a battle.

  3. 3

    Get a step ahead

With room to spare, we preview the next topic before school reaches it - so class feels like revision instead of a surprise, and confidence builds.

  4. 4

    Fill the gaps

And we close the gaps from earlier years that quietly hold students back, building the solid foundation that makes everything else easier.
